"So the way it works is by default, every teen that has a teen account will be in the 13-plus rating.”
Cardi B isn’t raising “nepo babies,” but she won’t mind helping them — so long as it’s earned.
During a recent appearance on the “On Purpose” podcast with host Jay Shetty, the 32-year-old rapper and soon-to-be mom of four opened up about the one quality she hopes her kids avoid as they grow up.
And she didn’t mince her words.
“Please don’t be a bum. Please don’t be lazy,” she said. “Some people have the look, the intelligent, the talent. Some people really have that, but they don’t go nowhere because they’re lazy.”

Cardi B went on to reiterate that she wants her children to build a life for themselves.
“Be your own person, be your own human, be something,” she told Shetty. “Be something that you could be proud of.”
And if Cardi B’s kids need some help along the way, then she’ll help — but not if it’s met with laziness.
“Even when they’re 18 ... and it’s time to leave, if you want an apartment, if you want a car, I’ll give it to you, but please, please become something,” she continued.

“Please don’t be nothing. That would be the worst disappointment they could ever do. Don’t disappoint me like that,” she concluded.
The “Am I the Drama?” artist shares three kids — Kulture Kiari, 7, Wave Set, 3, and Blossom Belle, 11 months — with her ex-husband and fellow rapper Offset, according to People.
On Sept. 17, she confirmed that she’s expecting her fourth child and first with boyfriend Stefon Diggs.
Cardi B praises her mom and grandmothers for showing her the way
Cardi B credits her bloodline for showing her what it takes to be a successful working mother.
Her mom, Clara Almanzar — who was “practically” a lunch lady, according to Cardi B — never gave up on being a mom and continued to work hard to provide for her kids, even when times were tough.
“I am very proud of my mom because she used to work her (butt) off,” Cardi B told Shetty.
“She could’ve went to my grandma, like, ‘I’m going through a tough time right now. Can you raise my kids for a year or two?’” she continued. “She never did that.”

Cardi B went on to praise her two grandmothers — one of which had 10 kids and the other had 13 kids — for working hard to bring their kids to America “one by one.”
“It’s no excuse,” she said. “But I could say that because they did that. And (my kids) are going to be able to say that about me.”
Cardi B and Offset started dating in 2017 and tied the knot later that year before finalizing their divorce in 2024, according to People.
As for Cardi B and Stefon Diggs, a wide receiver for the New England Patriots, the couple have been linked since May, per Billboard.
