That camping trip your family still talks about? Science says it’s worth more than any toy under the tree.
Rubble’s “PAW Patrol” heroics are getting a special holiday twist this year.
On Sept. 17, CBS and Paramount announced that a new animated holiday special, “A PAW Patrol Christmas,” will premiere on Nov. 28 — both live on CBS and on demand through Paramount+.
The hour-long special will be centered around Rubble, the construction-loving English bulldog.
“He is looking forward to Santa bringing him a new laser drill, but things take a turn when Santa comes down with a cold and can’t deliver any presents,” the press release reads.
“When Mayor Humdinger decides he’s going to the North Pole to take all the gifts for himself, it’s up to the PAW Patrol to stop him,” the release continued.

The special will include “a mix of original and classic holiday songs,” per the release.
In the comment section of an announcement on the PAW Patrol’s official Instagram page, Nickelodeon Family confirmed that the special will be available in UK cinemas starting Nov. 7.

Rubble has been a beloved member of the PAW Patrol franchise and was chosen as the featured pup in the show’s first-ever spinoff series “Rubble & Crew,” which debuted in 2023.
His new special is the latest among a slate of original hour-long specials coming to CBS and Paramount.
On Oct. 3, the series will premiere “Valiente: A Tracker Story,” which follows Tracker — a chihuahua pup who lives in the jungle with his owner, Carlos.
Tracker’s special — as well as the specials that follow in 2026 — will air on Nickelodeon, per CBS Entertainment.
“PAW Patrol” will also have 12 episodes from its new season premiering on Nickelodeon in 2026.
In the meantime, parents and kids can enjoy the hundreds of “Paw Patrol” episodes from its first 10 seasons on Paramount — affectionately dubbed the “PAWsome Collection.”
“Rubble & Crew,” as well as the two theatrical movies, “PAW Patrol: The Movie” and “PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie,” are also available to Paramount subscribers.
