"The safest practice is to keep personal information to a minimum, no matter your privacy settings or friends. Have a great school year!”
Hilaria Baldwin is giving her daughter — and kids everywhere — a chance to speak their mind.
Five months after releasing their first book together, “Glowing Up,” Baldwin and her 11-year-old daughter Carmen are teaming up on a new podcast that will see the mother-daughter duo act as co-hosts.
The podcast, “Growing Up Together,” is expected to make its debut on Sept. 17, per Evio Creative.
The pair announced the podcast with the release of their first trailer — which was posted to Evio Creative’s YouTube channel on Aug. 18.
In the trailer, Hilaria Baldwin says that there’s a ton of parenting tips and advice online from parents and experts alike, but argues that most of those conversations are missing one very important voice.
“The kids, obviously,” Carmen chimes in.
Hilaria Baldwin went on to explain that their goal with the podcast is to “empower kids and parents through having open conversations that will hopefully create a strong bond.”
“We don’t have to have all the answers, but we are very excited to search for them with all of you on this podcast,” she added in the trailer.
Carmen is the eldest of Hilaria Baldwin’s children, whom she shares with husband Alec Baldwin.
Hilaria and Alec Baldwin are also parents to sons Rafael, 9, Leonardo, 8, Romeo, 7, and Eduardo, 4, and daughters María, 4, and Ilaria, 2, according to People.
Alec Baldwin also shares an older daughter Ireland Baldwin, 29, with his ex-wife Kim Basinger, whom he divorced in 2002, per the outlet.
Hilaria Baldwin’s new podcast will bring parents, kids and experts together
Hilaria Baldwin’s new project with her daughter comes on the heels of her family’s reality show “The Baldwins,” which debuted Feb. 23 on TLC, per IMDB.
According to Screen Rant, it’s unclear if the show will be renewed for a second season.
The “Growing Up Together” announcement also comes just five months after Hilaria Baldwin and her daughter released their first book together.
“Glowing Up,” a beauty recipe book that shares easy and natural skincare tips, was released on March 23, per People.
In an interview with People, published Aug. 18, Hilaria Baldwin opened up about the new podcast and why she feels now is the perfect time to give parents a new perspective on parenthood.
“We had so much fun doing our book together and the first season of our family show that we didn't want to stop our mother-daughter projects!” she told the outlet.
“We think that having open conversations about growing up and how to stay close and connected, even during the rockiest times, is serving us well,” she added.
Hilaria Baldwin went on to argue that parents grow up just as much as kids do throughout parenthood.
She also confirmed that her and her daughter will be joined by parents, kids and experts alike.
“We want to grow together, and not apart,” she said, “and believe that opening up and sharing these chats on a podcast can be a fun way to explore that controversial question: Can parents and kids be friends?”
“Maybe the key to healthier relationships isn’t about having all the answers but rather about having real conversations, listening closely, and staying open to the process of growing together,” she continued.
Hilaria Baldwin and Carmen won’t be the first parent-child duo to launch a podcast together.
