Vin Diesel shares family dinner with Meadow Walker as they mark 25 years of
'Fast & Furious.'
Influencer, entrepreneur, and former Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague, who goes by Molly-Mae online, is opening up about her toddler mom struggles.
In a new vlog uploaded to her YouTube channel on December 17, Molly-Mae explained that her two-year-old daughter, Bambi, has been quite the handful lately.
Bambi, whom Molly-Mae shares with her Love Island love match, boxer Tommy Fury, seems to be going through the phase that many parents refer to as “the terrible twos,” testing her parents’ limits frequently.
“What a morning! I’m just about to leave the house to go to the office, but I just feel really bad that I’ve left Tommy with Bambi like that this morning,” the influencer said, appearing frustrated.
She then explained that just two days prior, she had remarked that Bambi’s behavior had been improving and she felt Bambi was “coming out of” her phase of bad behavior, but then she seemed to suddenly go back to misbehaving.
“I hope this helps any other toddler parent to know that they’re not alone in, like, the wild rollercoaster of, like, every day just changes so much,” she continued in the video.
For Molly-Mae, cycling through the ups and downs of Bambi’s behavior has been exhausting.
“Half the week you’ll be like ‘I’ve made a breakthrough,’ like, she’s listening, she’s being so lovely and I’m, like, loving this, and then, like, you’ll suddenly be like ‘oh my God, like, I don’t know how to handle this, like this is horrendous, what am I doing, like, she’s not listening, like, she hates me,’” the influencer said, exasperated.
She then said she feels guilty leaving Tommy to deal with Bambi alone while she’s at work.
“Now I’ve got to go to work, and like Tommy’s at home with her and I just know they’re probably not going to have a very nice day because she’s just, like… the listening ears are firmly switched off, like, to the point where, like, she doesn’t want to hear anything we’re saying,” she said.
Molly-Mae then explained that Bambi had a tumbling class scheduled for that day, but she and Tommy told her she wouldn’t be able to go if she misbehaved.
However, they didn’t want her to miss the Christmas party the class was having, and were now struggling to follow through on not allowing her to go.
Molly-Mae then shared that she and Tommy were trying to stick to their word more often after her mom gave them some important advice on the issue.
“My mum always says that you can’t make false statements and be like ‘you’re not gonna go here if you carry on doing this’ and they carry on doing it and you take them anyways, then that’s when they start to be like ‘oh, like these people are literally just a joke,’” she explained.
She then finished the story by saying she and Tommy talked about it before she left, but ultimately she wasn’t sure if he would end up taking her to tumbling class.
Despite their recent tensions, the family was looking cheerful the following day when they attended LaplandUK, an immersive Christmas experience where children can meet and learn about the magical world of Santa, or “Father Christmas” as he’s called in the UK.
On Instagram, Molly-Mae referred to the experience as “a magical day,” alongside pictures of her, Tommy, and Bambi enjoying the holiday activities together.
