“We’re all blessed, and it takes a village to raise a family.”
Jason Momoa didn’t want his son to follow in his footsteps — but he did, anyway.
The 45-year-old actor, best known for his roles in “Aquaman” and “Game of Thrones,” shares two children — daughter Lola, 18, and son Nakoa-Wolf, 16 — with his ex-wife Lisa Bonet, according to People.
On July 18, Momoa attended the premiere of his new film “Chief of War” with his two kids — and the trio stunned everyone with twinning outfits.

Momoa wore a tribal-inspired fur cape over a black shirt and bone necklace. He also carried two bone daggers in his hands and wore sunglasses with red frames, according to photos shared by Us Weekly.
His two kids wore matching (yet smaller) fur capes, while Nakoa-Wolf added a neckpiece made of teeth.
The trio’s appearance comes one month after it was revealed that Nakoa-Wolf would make his feature film debut in “Dune 3,” which is scheduled to be released in 2026, per The Independent.
While walking the red carpet on July 18, Momoa opened up about his son’s upcoming milestone.
“This kid…” Momoa said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. “I’m like, ‘No, you can’t act. No you’re not going to be in this (industry). No, no, no.’”
“And then, he literally — he did it on his own,” he continued.
According to Deadline, Nakoa-Wolf was cast as “the twin offspring of Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) and Chani (Zendaya).”
Deadline also reported that Momoa is expected to reprise his role as Duncan Idaho in the film.
But, according to Momoa, he might struggle to live up to his son’s potential.
“Listen, he’s going to be way better than I have ever been,” Momoa told ET on the red carpet. “That’s what you want for your children.”
“He’s loud like his father, so we have that in common,” Momoa added.
Momoa started dating Bonet in 2005 before secretly marrying her in 2017 — a full decade after they welcomed their first child together, daughter Lola Iolani, in 2007, according to People.
The pair’s son, Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha, known as “Wolfie,” followed in 2008.
In 2022, Momoa took to his Instagram to share that he and Bonet “are parting ways in marriage,” per NBC News.
"The love between us carries on, evolving in ways it wishes to be known and lived. We free each other to be who we are learning to become,” Momoa added in the caption, according to the outlet.
The former couple’s divorce was granted in January 2024 — one day after Bonet filed for the dissolution of their marriage, according to People.
The divorce was finalized six months later, per Entertainment Weekly.
