It’s already November, which means it’s time to start bringing back the Elf on the Shelf tradition.
We live in a world where many celebrity babies are following in their famous parents’ footsteps.
But that might not be the case for Kaley Cuoco’s daughter Matilda.
The 39-year-old actress, best known for her role as Penny on “The Big Bang Theory,” welcomed her 2-year-old daughter, whom she refers to as Tildy, with fiancé Tom Pelphrey on March 30, 2023.
In an interview with People at The John Ritter Foundation’s Evening from the Heart Gala on Sept. 12, Cuoco opened up about life at home and shared a few hilarious details about Tildy’s personality.

“Tom and I laugh because we think she’s a terrible actress,” Cuoco said. “She fake cries, and we can see right through her.”
“We’re like, ‘Nope, you’re not getting away with that, little lady. You’re going to have to have some better acting chops than that,’” she added.
Cuoco’s comment contradicts what she predicted about her daughter in November.

"I don't know how this child will not be an actress. I mean, it's an acting family,” Cuoco said in an interview with E! News, which aired Nov. 18.
“That girl is a performer. There's no way she's not going to perform,” she added.
Whether she has the “acting chops” or not, Cuoco and Pelphrey — an actor in his own right — have already exposed their daughter to the reality of being on set.
Kaley Cuoco and Tom Pelphrey share moments with Tildy on set
Tildy got her first taste of life on set in July 2024 when she joined her mom while filming.
“I dreamed of the classic ‘baby on camera‘ pic since the day she was born,” Cuoco wrote on Instagram alongside photos of the duo. “Maybe she will share this pic in 20 years when she is on the Late Show.”
Tildy’s introduction to her famous parents’ life away from home continued last year when she joined her father on the set of “Task.”
In an interview with People, published Sept. 14, Pelphrey revealed that he rented a home in Pennsylvania — where the series was being filmed — so Cuoco and their daughter could remain close while filming.
“This was one of the great things about the job — where we were filming, I rented a house and Kaley and Matilda were with me, but also my family’s so close that they could come and visit,” Pelphrey said.
“My mom came at least once a week. Grandma got to see Matilda, Matilda loves her grandma. My grandmother got to come, so Matilda got to spend time with her great-grandma,” he added.
Elsewhere in Cuoco’s recent interview with People, she shared one of the cutest things Tildy does since learning how to talk.
“When we call [Tildy], we FaceTime her, and she goes, ‘What’s up, guys? What are you doing, guys?’” Cuoco told the outlet.
“She says that to me and Tom. ‘What are you doing, guys?’ I don't know where she got ‘guys’ from, but it’s hysterical,” she added.
Cuoco and Pelphrey went public with their relationship in May 2022 and announced that they were expecting their first child later that year, according to People.
