“Well, look, I know it’s hard. Believe me, I know how tired you are when you have little kids.”
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos might not have spoiled kids — but they do have a spoiled kid.
On the Aug. 11 episode of “Live with Kelly and Mark,” the husband and wife duo were talking about their wish to hopefully one day be grandparents when they got honest about their two kids.
While they said they didn’t spoil their two sons, they did admit to raising a somewhat spoiled daughter.

But don’t tell their two sons — because “they can never know,” according to Ripa.
"I'm going to tell you something right now, and don't tell our sons,” Ripa said on the show, per Hello! magazine.
“But if they had any idea how much more money we spent on Lola. The care and feeding of Lola compared to the boys…” she continued.
The couple share three kids — Michael, 27, Lola, 23, and Joaquin, 22 — from their 29-year marriage, according to People.
Ripa went on to admit that she would give her younger son eight-year-old hand-me-downs from their older son, while their lone daughter would get whatever she wanted — one way or another.
"But Lola, the only girl,” Ripa said, per the outlet. “If I didn't give it to her she went to (Mark). If (Mark) didn't give it to her she would go to one of the grandparents. And they were like 'Of course!'”
“She knows how to seal the deal. We used to be amazed at that skillset!" the host continued.
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos say their kids don’t watch their talk show
If Ripa and Consuelos are serious about their sons not knowing how much they spoiled Lola, then getting honest on “Live with Kelly and Mark” was a safe plan.
During a July 15 appearance on “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” the couple were asked if any of their kids watch their daytime talk show.
They were both quick to respond, “No.”
Ripa went on to tell a story about how they invited their younger son Joaquin — who was visiting them from Michigan at the time — to come watch their interview because he’s a fan of host Seth Meyers.
She said her son declined the invite, but said he would watch the show when it airs.
Ripa seemed surprised that her son was going to tune in, but he was quick to clarify that he wasn’t watching it because of them.
“Well, I watch Seth,” he said, according to Ripa. “I’m not watching for you. I’m just naturally watching Seth.”
Their kids might not watch “Live with Kelly and Mark” now, but they were very much a part of the behind-the-scenes early on in Ripa’s time on the show.
"Our kids grew up here,” Consuelos said in an April interview with People after the couple aired their final episode from the show’s Upper West Side studio at 7 Lincoln Square.
The studio had been home to the show for 37 years.
"They'd come visit mom here a lot — they were always backstage, even when they were babies,” he continued.

"They came to work with me every day until they went to school," Ripa added of her three kids. “We meant when we say they grew up in this building, in these four walls."
