“A couple of hours? No, I’m not going to, and that’s okay.”
Lindsay Lohan’s son is her most ultimate fan — he just doesn’t know it yet.
The 39-year-old “Freaky Friday” actress shares son Luai, born in 2023, with her husband Bader Shammas, whom she has been married to since 2022, according to People.
On July 22, Lohan was asked when she plans on introducing Luai to the iconic 2003 film during an interview with Entertainment Tonight at the premiere of the film’s sequel, “Freakier Friday.”

“I don’t know. I don’t think he could like sit through it right now,” she said of her 2-year-old. “Now he’s more into like ‘Lion King’ and ‘Moana’ and dinosaur movies.”
While he hasn’t watched the film, Lohan confirmed that he has heard her song “Ultimate,” which she performs during the end credits of the 2003 film.
The song was written and produced by Robert Ellis Orrall and Jeff Coplan, according to Genius.

Elsewhere in the interview, Lohan was asked if Luai has had any play dates with her co-star Chad Michael Murray’s son and two daughters, whom he shares with wife Sarah Roemer, per People.
“They haven’t yet,” Lohan told ET. “When we were filming Luai was just about to turn one, so he was still, kind of like, home a lot.”
Lohan revealed her pregnancy on Mother’s Day in 2023 when she shared a photo of a onesie that read “coming soon” on Instagram.
She then shared photos from her baby shower the following month before announcing Luai’s birth in July 2023. He was born in Dubai, according to Entertainment Weekly.
In 2024, it was revealed that Luai’s godparents are NBA player Steph Curry and his wife Ayesha Curry, according to The Mercury News.
Lohan threw Luai a dinosaur-themed birthday party
In a cover story for People, published July 23, Lohan revealed what a morning looks like in her house.
"Right now he's just running everywhere, and I need to get that under control," she told the outlet before adding, "He loves dance time in the morning. That's a big thing."
The comment comes five days after Lohan celebrated her son’s second birthday on Instagram.
“Watching you grow has been the greatest joy of our life. You light up every room (and keep us all on our toes), and we are so proud to be your mama and daddy,” she wrote in the caption.
As seen in the photos, Lohan threw her son a dinosaur-themed “2REX” party that featured a green cake, large prehistoric animal figures and a mini chicken petting zoo.
“You are the deepest love we have ever known, the wildest adventure, and the most beautiful purpose. You have given our lives a whole new meaning, and we are grateful every single day,” Lohan wrote.
“Here is to another year of cuddles, giggles, and magic. Me and Daddy love you more than words can say,” she added.
On July 15, Lohan shared a photo on Instagram of her holding Luai as they stood on a beach.
She also shared a photo of her, Shammas and Luai in Roma, Italy on July 2.
