That camping trip your family still talks about? Science says it’s worth more than any toy under the tree.
Mark Consuelos is a little conflicted about what to get his kids for Christmas this year.
During the Nov. 20 episode of “Live with Kelly and Mark,” the 54-year-old actor and talk show host opened up about his holiday shopping plans with his wife and co-host Kelly Ripa, 55.
Ripa, who normally has her shopping done by now, said she was “way behind” this year, which led Consuelos to pitch an idea.
“We’ll just give the gift of each other this year," he said, an idea that Ripa appeared to appreciate. "Everybody else will just get the gift of us.”

“The kids are old now,” Kelly Ripa’s husband continued. “I’m not getting them anything.”
Ripa, who didn’t seem too on board with his original idea, was noticeably shocked that he was considering not giving their kids any gifts this year.
“They get money,” Consuelos said. “Give them like a check or something and say, ‘Merry Christmas.’”
Ripa still wasn’t convinced — and it didn’t take long for Consuelos to catch on to her obvious doubts.
“I don’t know, that sounds bad,” he said of his holiday shopping idea. “That sounds really bad.”
Ripa and Consuelos met on the set of “All My Children” in 1995 before breaking up the following year, according to People.
That breakup only lasted a few days — and it was an appearance on “Live with Regis and Kathie Lee” that brought them back together.
It was at that point that Consuelos realized he made a mistake in breaking up with Ripa. So, he asked her to marry him and the couple eloped in Las Vegas the following day.
Ripa and Consuelos have been happily married ever since and will celebrate 30 years of marriage in 2026.
The couple share three children — Michael, 28, Lola, 24, and Joaquin, 22 — together, per People.
But it wouldn’t be a surprise if they end up buying more Christmas gifts for Lola than Michael and Joaquin.
On the Aug. 11 episode of “Live with Kelly and Mark,” the husband and wife duo admitted that they tend to spoil their daughter much more than their sons.
"I'm going to tell you something right now, and don't tell our sons,” Ripa said on the show.

“But if they had any idea how much more money we spent on Lola. The care and feeding of Lola compared to the boys…” she added.
