“It surprises many parents of young kids when I say, but if you have grown children - you will know how true this is.”
Nicole Kidman can’t help but feel a little anxious as her daughters enter the spotlight.
The 58-year-old actress attended the Oct. 6 Chanel Womenswear Spring/Summer 2026 show with her two daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, whom she shares with singer Keith Urban.
The appearance came just one week after Kidman filed for divorce from her husband of 20 years.
In a cover story for Vogue's November 2025 issue, Kidman opened up about the fear she has as her daughters enter the industry and the Taylor Swift-inspired advice she gives when dealing with haters.

“It’s very frightening for me,” Kidman said in the interview, published Oct. 8. “[But] I started working at 14, so I don’t really have a leg to stand on.”
As for the haters they’ll encounter, Kidman tells them to just “shake it off.”
“Literally walk away from it,” she said. “Because it will fell you. It will destroy you.”
During a behind-the-scenes video of Kidman preparing for the event, which was uploaded by Vogue on Oct. 7, Kidman admitted to being “nervous” for the show.

“I'm just very nervous, actually,” she said at the beginning of the video. “I have my daughters coming with me. But I'm very excited for Matthieu [Blazy] because this is a big moment for him.”
The “Rabbit Hole” actress married the “Somebody Like You” singer in 2006, according to People.
In addition to her two daughters with Urban, Kidman also shares two older children — daughter Bella, 32, and son Connor, 30 — with her ex-husband Tom Cruise.
Nicole Kidman’s daughters have entered the spotlight before
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have kept their daughters out of the spotlight — for the most part.
Their eldest daughter, whose full name is Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, made her runway debut on October 1, 2024 when she walked for Miu Miu's spring/summer 2025 show during Paris Fashion Week.
She most recently walked the runway in the Christian Dior Womenswear Spring/Summer 2026 show on Oct. 1 — just one day after Kidman filed for divorce from Urban.

But before she was walking the runway, Sunday Rose was making cameos in their mother’s films.
Both Sunday and Faith appeared in the second and third episodes of Season 2 of “Big Little Lies” in 2019, as well as Season 1, Episode 1 of “The Undoing” in 2020, according to IMDB.
They were also voice actors in the 2019 film “The Angry Birds Movie 2,” per IMDB.
It’s unclear if Faith will follow in her sister’s footsteps, but she did appear in her mom’s inaugural campaign for Japanese beauty brand Clé de Peau Beauté in June.
If she wants to take her talents to the runway, she’ll need to wait until she turns 16 — like her sister.
In an interview with Nylon, published Aug. 6, Sunday Rose — whom the couple welcomed in 2008 — was asked if her celebrity parents had any ground rules for her to follow before starting her modeling career.
“There are two big rules,” she told the outlet. “The first was that I couldn’t explore any kind of fashion work until I was 16.”
