Kristin Cavallari revealed on her podcast that she recently said goodbye to her longtime German Shepherd, Kona, opening up about the emotional decision.
Christine Brown’s daughter Mykelti wants to bring an end to mom-shaming in 2026 and beyond.
The 29-year-old “Sister Wives” star, who is the second-oldest of Kody and Christine Brown’s kids, took to Instagram on Jan. 8 to open up about some of the “serious hate comments” she received online recently.
And it was all because she gave her children iPads to keep them entertained during a four-hour road trip.
"I hate when I get judged for how I raise my kids," she said. "I got some serious hate comments recently. I actually got hate DMs, massive amounts of them. A lot. And it's because I gave my kids iPads."

Mykelti went on to explain that she was on her way to her sister’s house with her husband and three kids.
"I had my Kindle, I had my phone. I was scrolling. Tony had his podcast he was listening to. We were entertained," she continued. "I gave my kids iPads so that they could be entertained as well.”
“I don’t like that we get judged so hard for trying to entertain my kids,” she added.
Mykelti raised a valid argument about screen time while traveling — claiming that adults never think twice before scrolling through their phone or watching a movie during long road trips or plane rides.
She even described herself as a perfect example of a “passenger princess” when it comes to screen time.
“Cut Mom Shaming in 2026,” she added in the caption.
Mykelti receives wave of support amid mom-shaming comments
Mykelti wasn’t the only one pushing back against mom guilt.
Janelle Brown, who married Kody Brown three years after his legal marriage to Meri Brown, took to the comment section to share her discontent with those who resort to mom-shaming online.
“Seriously! Preach honey !!!” she wrote under the post.

Many others took to the comment section to show their support for Mykelti and her parenting style.
- “Seriously?? Who isn’t giving their children a iPad or smart phone on drives??”
- “You don’t owe anyone an explanation. We are all out here surviving and doing the best we can”
- “Your kids your business!! it’s easy to judge from behind a screen”
- “People need to worry about their own kids! An iPad in the car is not hurting anyone it make it a better car ride for everyone.”
- “Oh honey you’re a wonderful mother. Trust your instincts and don’t let people tell you otherwise”
Mykelti is the second of Christine and Kody Brown’s six kids.
The “Sister Wives” star, who made regular appearances on the show, tied the knot with her husband, Antonio Padron, in 2016 — and their wedding was shown during season 7 of her parents’ show.
She was the first of Christine Brown’s kids to make her a grandmother.
Mykelti and Antonio welcomed their first child — a daughter named Avalon Asa — in April 2021 before adding a set of twin sons, Archer Banks and Ace McCord, in November 2022, according to People.
In July 2024, Mykelti moved her family from Utah to North Carolina to get away from the drama, move closer to her younger sister Ysabel and better support her husband’s chess career.
