“Nothing matters but the health and welfare of the people you love and the people who are closest to us.”
Stephen Baldwin doesn’t talk about his daughter Hailey Bieber often — but he did recently.
During a Sept. 17 appearance on Tori Spelling’s “misSPELLING” podcast, Baldwin talked about how “some people achieve all different levels of experience and success” when he mentioned his daughter.
“Look at my daughter,” he said of Hailey Bieber.
“I never talk about her, but my daughter has done the impossible — relatively,” he added. “But in this day and age, in the last 10 years, it’s not impossible. It’s happened.”

He went on to argue that a lot of “young people” in today’s society are “exposing themselves in private chat rooms and getting paid a lot of money to do it.”
“And young people are making unbelievable amounts of money on the internet in ways that are very sketchy,” he continued — implying that his daughter chose a more traditional route.
“So, God bless her,” he added.
Stephen Baldwin’s comments come more than a year after Hailey Bieber said she’s “not super close” with her family — and four months after her rhode® skin care brand signed a billion-dollar deal.
She opened up about her relationship with her family in a July 2024 interview with “W Magazine.”
“I’m not super close with my family at this point in my life because I feel like I’m very independent. I’m my own individual now, and I’ve built my own family,” Hailey Bieber explained.

She went on to clarify that she has “very fond, beautiful memories” when looking back at her childhood.
“I had a fairly normal childhood. Obviously, I come from the family that I come from, and I always recognized that that was different,” she said of growing up in a famous family.
In May, Haley Bieber announced that her beauty brand rhode® was bought by e.l.f. Beauty.
According to People, the 28-year-old continues to serve as the brand’s founder, chief creative officer and head of innovation — while also serving as a strategic advisor to both companies.
The $1 billion deal includes “$800 million of consideration payable at closing” and “an additional potential earnout consideration of $200 million,” per a press release shared by Page Six.
Stephen Baldwin opens up about his life as a grandfather
Elsewhere on the “misSPELLING” podcast, Stephen Baldwin opened up about his love for his family.
The 59-year-old actor, who is the youngest of the Baldwin brothers, shares two daughters — Hailey Bieber and her older sister Alaia Baldwin, 32 — with his wife Kennya Baldwin, according to People.
He became a grandfather for the first time in 2020 when Alaia Baldwin welcomed her daughter Iris Elle with her husband Andrew Aronow, per E! News.
The family expanded again in 2024 when Hailey Bieber welcomed her son Jack Blues with husband Justin Bieber, according to People.

“I am a grandfather,” Stephen Baldwin said on the podcast. “And my five-year-old granddaughter Iris — intergalactic. She’s from another galaxy.”
He went on to describe Iris as a “no-nonsense” type of child.
“Like, she likes a grape juice box, for example, that’s her favorite,” he explained. “She doesn’t like the punch or the one that’s like a Sunday lemonade with grapefruit.”
