Katrina Bowden is officially a girl mom.
The 37-year-old actress best known for her role as Cerie on NBC’s “30 Rock” took to Instagram on Oct. 17 to announce the birth of her first child — a baby girl — with her husband Adam Taylor.
The new mom shared several photos of her little one, including pics with dad and their family dog Rudy.
“Her birth was simultaneously the most emotional, difficult and joyful experience of our lives,” Bowden wrote in the caption of the post. “She is healthy, happy, home and we are just so in love.”

The caption also included the little girl’s nature-themed name: Rowyn Sage Taylor.
Rowyn, a variant of Rowan, is the Anglicized form of Ruadhán, which derives from the Old Irish element rúad, meaning “red,” according to Behind the Name.
It also refers to the rowan tree, known for its distinct red berries and as a symbol of protection against evil.
Rowan is the more common spelling of the name and is currently one of the most popular gender-neutral nature names in the country.

It was given to approximately 1,193 baby girls and 4,647 baby boys in 2024, according to the Social Security Administration — while Rowyn was given to just 361 baby girls and 79 baby boys.
Other variations of this name include Rowen, Rowenna, Rowynn and Arowyn.
The baby’s middle name, Sage, comes from the English word meaning “wise” or “judicious,” though it also refers to an aromatic herb (Salvia officinalis) used for cooking and an earthy greyish-green color.
Sage is another popular gender-neutral nature name in the U.S. today.
According to the SSA, it was given to approximately 1,987 baby girls and 779 baby boys in 2024. Other variations of the name include Sayge, Saige, Sagelyn and Sayje.
Katrina Bowden teased her baby’s name in her nursery reveal
Bowden’s baby news comes five months after the actress revealed her pregnancy for the first time.
"We had just started trying, so we didn't expect it to happen so fast," Bowden told People in May. "It was really surprising and exciting. [Taylor] was very excited and immediately wanted to tell everybody."
The birth announcement also comes two weeks after she gave fans a tour of her baby’s nursery.
“Welcome to the nursery reveal for our beach-themed nursery for baby girl,” she said at the beginning of the video before teasing her baby’s middle name — though we didn’t know it at the time.
“We went with a light sage on the walls,” she said as she panned around the room.
Bowden and Taylor went public with their relationship in October 2021 and announced their engagement two years later after Taylor got down on one knee on a rocky beach in Positano, according to People.
The couple tied the knot in a ceremony at the Kalama Beach Club in Kailua in November — six months before announcing their pregnancy.

"The wedding is very us — laid-back but with impeccable details that reflect who we are," Bowden told People at the time. "The dream come true part is finding each other and getting to celebrate our love."
