"I'm thankful to be able to have three and be the best dad that I can be. It's the best title you have in this life.”
Josh Allen isn’t the only Buffalo Bills’ player entering his dad era.
On Dec. 13, Allen’s teammate, Dawson Knox, and his wife, Alexandra Knox, took to Instagram to announce the birth of their first child, a baby girl named Noa Elizabeth.
Noa was born on Dec. 9, according to the caption of the post.
“A love like no other,” Dawson Knox’s wife wrote alongside a photo of the baby girl wearing a knitted onesie with her first name written in pink. “Thank you Jesus.”

The news came one day after Allen and his wife, Hailee Steinfeld, announced their own pregnancy, and one day before the Bills traveled to Foxborough for a Week 15 game vs. the New England Patriots.
Knox, who plays tight end, and Allen, the team’s quarterback, had a weekend to remember.
Not only did the Bills defeat the Patriots 35-31 in comeback fashion, but Allen threw for 193 yards and three touchdowns — and Knox caught two of those touchdowns and added 37 yards to his stat sheet.
With his two TDs, Knox broke the Bills’ franchise record for most career TDs by a tight end.

The tight end, who was drafted by the team in the 3rd round (96th overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft, now has 26 touchdowns in his career — the most of any tight end and 10th-most of anyone all-time on the Bills.
“17 and 88. Just a couple of dads,” the Buffalo Bills wrote alongside an X video of Knox’s first touchdown.
After he scored his second touchdown of the game, Knox celebrated by cradling the football like a baby.
In an interview with Bills’ sideline reporter Sal Capaccio after the game, Knox was mid-sentence when his fellow tight end Dalton Kincaid ran over with a brief message.
“It’s dad strength, Sal, it’s dad strength,” Kincaid said, according to Audacy.
Josh Allen and Dawson Knox praise each other after the game
Allen and Knox have built a lot of chemistry together over the past seven years.
Knox was drafted the year after Allen and there’s a reason why the team hasn’t moved on from either of them since — despite Knox essentially becoming the team’s backup in recent years behind Kincaid.
After the game, the newly-minted dad and soon-to-be dad had plenty to say about each other.
“Other guys are saying it's dad strength, but I'm just very grateful for the opportunities. We've talked about it a lot, but I'm so thankful for this team, man," Knox told reporters after the game, per WKBW.
"Playing with the best quarterback in the world, 17, he's going to make plays all over the field. It's so fun to be a part of such an unselfish group,” he added of his quarterback.

Allen echoed that praise while alluding to his teammate’s baby girl Noa.
"He's never once complained. He's worked his butt off, blocks his tail off in the run game," he said. "He's finding himself with these opportunities over the last few weeks, and he's taking advantage of them. I love the guy."
"That's what having a baby girl will do to you. Dawson works so hard, hard-working dude, great dude, and I look up to him as well. Just everything, he does and how he carries himself on and off the field,” he added.
