“Watching somebody do something I can't do. To be there for somebody else succeeding where I failed.”
The queen of pregnancy reveals was at it again.
Rihanna, who already shares two sons — RZA Athelston, born May 2022, and Riot Rose, born August 2023 — with rapper A$AP Rocky, was fashionably late to the Met Gala 2025, as is tradition with her.
But it wasn’t her near-tardiness — or even her outfit — that had everyone’s jaws on the floor.

Donning a gray bustier, black floor-length skirt, cropped black jacket and oversized black hat — all of which designed by Marc Jacobs — the singer, once again, stole the show with her growing baby bump.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight on the carpet, Rihanna said she’s “shockingly feeling okay.”
“Not too overwhelmed at the moment. At first, I was kind of like—tired but I’m excited,” she added.
The pregnancy was rumored earlier in the day when photos of her walking in New York City went viral online. In the photos, Rihanna was sporting a gray outfit that appeared to show a baby bump.
A$AP Rocky, who arrived at the Met Gala several hours before Rihanna, then confirmed the pregnancy while talking to the Associated Press.
“It feels amazing, you know,” Rocky said to reporters, who congratulated him over the news.
“It’s time that we show the people what we was cooking up. And I’m glad everybody’s happy for us ’cause we definitely happy, you know,” he added.
Rocky went on to describe the pregnancy as a “blessing.”
“Because you know how like some people in other situations at times can be envious of other people. But we’ve been seeing love for the most part,” he told reporters.
“And we real receptive to that and appreciate that, you know what I mean?” he continued. “That’s love. Love is love.”
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are no strangers to big-time reveals

Rihanna’s big reveal on May 5 comes more than two years after she stole the show at the Super Bowl.
The singer was headlining the halftime show on Feb. 12, 2023 when she debuted a never-before-seen baby bump. Her pregnancy was confirmed later that night, per People.
Six months later, A$AP Rocky and Rihanna welcomed their second son. His name, Riot Rose, was revealed one month later.
The couple are also parents to a son named RZA Athelston.
Rihanna debuted her baby bump in January 2022 after being photographed on a walk in Harlem with A$AP Rocky. Rihanna wore a long pink jacket that was unbuttoned at the bottom to reveal the bump.
RZA was born four months later, according to People.
While walking the carpet at this year’s Met Gala, Rihanna was asked if she had any other reveals — hinting at marriage rumors — to share with her fans.
ET’s Rachel Smith further dropped the hint by mentioning Rihanna’s new bridal lingerie line that recently dropped.
“It’s not our first bridal line,” Rihanna said before shouting out the collection.

When Smith doubled down on the question, Rihanna quipped, “No, girl, you know I don’t keep secrets very well.”
