Vanessa Hudgens is ready for another round of motherhood.
The 36-year-old former “High School Musical” star took to Instagram on July 12 to share that she’s pregnant with her second baby with husband and former MLB player Cole Tucker.
“Round two!!!!” Hudgens wrote in the caption alongside photos of her, Tucker and her baby bump.

The announcement comes one year after the couple welcomed their first child, who shares the same birthday as his father, July 3. The pair have yet to release the baby’s name or gender.
It also comes four months after Hudgens made her post-baby red carpet debut at the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party — which she attended with Tucker.
Many of the couple’s close friends, colleagues and fans shared their excitement for the new baby on Instagram.
“Congratulations!!!” fellow singer Demi Lovato wrote in the comment section of the joint post.
“Ohhhhh congratulations my love!!” dancer and actress Jenna Dewan added in a comment of her own.
“Omg congratulations you freaking goddess ❤️🙌 both of you! All of you! Many many many blessings to you,” added WWE star Zelina Vega.
“RUN IT BACK,” Hudgens’ younger sister, Stella, wrote before adding, “mhmmmm mama looks perfect,” in a separate comment.
Other stars who commented include Rachel Zegler, Mario Lopez, Ashley Graham, Sarah Hyland, Bianca Belair and Ashley Benson.
Hudgens recently celebrated first Mother’s Day
Hudgens and Tucker began their parenthood journey one year ago with the birth of their first child.
The couple met during a Zoom meditation group, which led to Hudgens sliding into the baseball player’s DMs, according to Entertainment Tonight.
They sparked romance rumors in 2020 before going Instagram official in 2021 and announcing their engagement two years later. The pair tied the knot in December 2023.
The “Start of Something New” singer announced the birth of baby No. 1 in an Instagram Story on July 4, 2024 — one day after TMZ had already leaked the news.
"We're disappointed that our family's privacy was disrespected and exploited during this very special time due to the greed of a long lens camera feeding the media," she wrote in the Story, according to People.
"Despite all of that, mom dad and baby are happy and healthy,” she wrote.
Hudgens and Tucker haven’t shared much of their baby in the year since, but Hudgens took to Instagram on May 11 to celebrate her first Mother’s Day.
“Becoming a mother has been the hardest, most exhausting but also incredibly fulfilling and joyous chapter of my life. I couldn’t be more grateful for my little family,” she wrote in the caption.
