Week 10
Do stay active
Don't eat shellfish
You'll likely see your baby moving around and making small jerking movements during an ultrasound.
What You should expect in
Week 10
At this point in your pregnancy, you will have the choice to decide whether or not you’ll want to have a NIPT blood test completed.
This test screens for conditions such as Down syndrome and will also detect whether or not your baby is a boy or a girl.
Week 10 also means you’re solidly in your third month of pregnancy!
And although your baby’s eyes will stay closed until your 27th week, they are now fully formed and can see, Baby Center reports.
You’re definitely seeing and feeling your body change at this point in your pregnancy.
You may also be salivating more than normal!
Physicians suggest that drinking more water, chewing gum, and sucking on hard candy can help you swallow the excess saliva more easily.
