What You should expect in Week 39

ONE. WEEK. TO. GO! It’s getting so real and honestly, some of you may have already met your little one! And if that’s you, CONGRATULATIONS, Mama! We can only imagine the joy you are feeling right now!
Did you know at 39 weeks you are actually considered full term!
And if you haven’t given birth already, you are now playing the waiting game!
At this point, your baby is probably sitting at their birth weight! Although there is a chance he or she will gain a few ounces depending how late they are!
According to What to Expect, as for how you might be feeling right now, Mama, your may be experiencing even more pains and aches in your pelvis.
In terms of signs of labor, there are a few: Water breaking, diarrhea or nausea, spurts of energy, the loss of your mucus plug, and bloody show.
As What to Expect reports, if you experience bloody show, “labor is probably just a day or two away.”
And if your doctor gives you the okay to eat during labor think small, healthy snacks!
These snacks, coupled with water, will help keep you hydrated and your energy up!
