Influencer Trisha Paytas is getting real about her postpartum body.
Candice King is expecting again!
The Vampire Diaries actress and Yellowjackets actor Steven Krueger are preparing to welcome their first baby together in May.
King, who announced her engagement to Krueger this past May, is already mom to daughters Florence and Josephine with her ex-husband, The Fray guitarist Joe King.
King told People, "We've known the news for a while now, and it's been such a joyful experience getting to surprise and share our happy news with friends and family. I think my daughters were relieved to understand why Mommy was suddenly belching constantly and eating unusual amounts at weird times."
"We're due in May, close to my birthday, which would be the best gift ever!" she adds.
"My social media algorithm immediately turned into a full-on pregnancy algorithm because all I was searching was how to surprise friends and family," she admits.
"We surprised our family when we were all together having a belated engagement celebration. We handed out Save the Dates, but instead of them being for our wedding, it was to meet Baby Krueger."
"I'm so happy that I have us surprising my daughters on video. It's a moment we'll treasure forever. I feel lucky to say that I had a very typical first trimester and just felt seasick the whole time,” King told People. “Shockingly, I'm just craving fruit. Which worked out great for our babymoon in Aruba, where all I did was eat fruit and acai bowls 24/7."
"I feel very grateful! I'm turning 39 next May. I can't wait to grow our beautiful blended family and be able to get back to work with my We Were Liars family for season two next summer," the actress continued. "I so often get caught up in planning ahead and what's next. But right now my goal is just to be present and enjoy this sweet spot of life."
As they prepare to welcome their little one, King and Krueger traveled to Aruba to do just that — slow down and savor this next chapter.
"Our babymoon in Aruba was exactly what we needed. We wanted somewhere that felt peaceful and also where we could get a bit of sun before winter sets in here in Nashville," King told People. "The moment we checked into the Boardwalk Boutique Hotel, I felt a million miles away from the holiday stress and was able to relax. We stayed in one of their gorgeous Casitas on the property, which feels like a private and lush oasis."
"Being pregnant I am drinking way more water than I usually do and so I loved that the hotel provided reusable water bottles that we could take with us around the island," she says. "That was a concern of mine, making sure I stayed hydrated in the sun, but there were refill stations of the delicious and potable water that the locals call, 'Paradise on Tap' everywhere we went!"‘
