Singer Carly Rae Jepsen is sharing an exciting announcement with her followers.
On November 3, she officially announced via Instagram that she is pregnant with her and her husband Cole M.G.N.'s first child.
She took to Instagram to post a carousel of black-and-white images of her and her husband caressing her baby bump together while sitting on a bed.
In the post's caption, Jepsen wrote, "Oh hi baby," followed by a heart emoji.
Fans took to the comments to congratulate the couple and send them well wishes.
"Omg congratulations Carly!!!!! You deserve all the happiness!!!" one fan shared on the post.
This announcement comes just one month after the couple's wedding in New York City.
"Husband. That feels good to say," Jepsen wrote in the caption of her wedding photos. "New York City ~Oct. 4th. Favourite day of my life."
Their wedding took place almost exactly one year after they got engaged on September 23, 2024.
Perhaps hinting at the special announcement that was to come, Jepsen shared in her wedding interview with Vogue that her dress was made with pregnancy in mind, saying, "We knew we were trying to get pregnant, so I also wanted an alternative [wedding] dress that was much more flowy that I could sub in for the ceremony or just change into for dancing.”
The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony with 100 guests that took place at the Chelsea Hotel.
"Often in life, we’ll imagine things, and even though the reality can be good, it’s never quite as good. This day felt like the exception. It was better than either one of our wildest dreams," Jepsen shared in the same Vogue interview.
Now the couple has a new dream to fulfill as they enter their next chapter of preparing for parenthood together.
Jepsen has not shared a timeline for her due date yet, but her friends, family, and fans are all eagerly waiting to welcome her bundle of joy.
