Tineke “Tini” Younger is sharing her special way of honoring her late daughter with her followers.
JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers rang in the holidays with an unexpected and joyful surprise. The couple revealed on Instagram that they welcomed their first child together only days before Christmas.
Their daughter arrived after what Fletcher described as a sudden change of plans. The reality TV alum explained that a routine prenatal appointment quickly turned into an emergency delivery.
“Merry Christmas to us 🥹❤️ What a whirlwind these last couple of days have been but in the most magical way,” Fletcher wrote, sharing a photo of Rodgers resting on a couch beside their newborn. “Went in for our weekly sonogram this past Tuesday and found out we needed to deliver via emergency c section that day.”
Their baby girl was born on December 23. “At 5:37pm on Dec 23 - we met our girl,” Fletcher continued. “Romy Blair Rodgers you are our whole world. Cant wait to share more but in the meantime soaking up these moments as a new family of 3 ❤️ + 2 😉 🐶🐶.”
Rodgers reposted the announcement on his Instagram Stories, adding, “Santa really upped his game this year.”
Following the birth, Fletcher, 35, offered another update, sharing a selfie to her Instagram Stories as she cuddled Romy against her chest. In the message, she reassured fans that she, Rodgers, and their daughter were all doing well after the delivery on Tuesday, December 23.
“Hiiiii!! Mom & Dad and baby girl all doing good!” she wrote. “In the newborn trenches so haven't had much time at all haha but wanted to say thank you so much for all the love and wishes. I'm recovering well.”
Despite the exhaustion that comes with those first days at home, Fletcher reflected on the overwhelming joy of becoming a mom.
“It's crazy what they say that you literally can be in full sleep deprivation mode but the second you look at her you forget it all bc the only thing you can think about is just how much you love this little angel. 🥹,” she shared.
