"King Kylie" is returning to her throne in Kylie Jenner's latest Kylie Cosmetics campaign.
The beauty brand founder has officially confirmed the release of a special 10th anniversary "King Kylie" collection through Kylie Cosmetics.
Jenner began getting the rumor mill swirling with an October 10 Instagram post that featured a screenshot of a 2022 tweet of her asking her fans, "if I just so happened to do a King Kylie collection what products would u guys like to see?" followed by a series of fan responses at the time.
She captioned the post "this ones for you..." and tagged the Kylie Cosmetics account.
That's right, this special collection is 3 years in the making, according to Jenner's post.
The next day, Jenner began teasing clips of the campaign ad. She then posted the full video, called "GLOSSES PART TWO: KING KYLIE RETURNS," on Snapchat on October 12, followed by posting it to her Instagram on October 13.
The ad picks up where the original Kylie Cosmetics lip gloss ad left off, with Kylie Jenner being released from jail and picked up by her mom, Kris Jenner, in a car donning the same "KNGKYLIE" license plate that was used in the original ad.
In a joint post between her personal account and the Kylie Cosmetics account, Jenner posted a carousel of images featuring her covered in teal glitter with a shimmering teal crown on her head.
“This King Kylie Collection is truly for you!!!” Jenner wrote as part of the caption on the Instagram post. “You’re the reason my biggest cosmetic dreams came true, and I wouldn’t be here 10 years later! without your support.”
The special collection will feature lip products, an eyeshadow palette, and a highlighter.
The collection will launch first on kyliecosmetics.com on October 18, before becoming available on ulta.com on October 21 and hitting Ulta stores on November 2.
