“One of them was like, ‘do you know my dad?’”
Kylie Kelce doesn’t mind being the one to care for her newborn baby overnight.
The 33-year-old podcaster has been an open book since welcoming her fourth daughter — Finnley “Finn” Anne — with her husband Jason Kelce on March 30.
And her latest pre-recorded episode of her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast, released April 17, was no different.

While talking to guest Kaylee Hartung, the newly-minted mother-of-four explained why she allows her husband to sleep through the night while she takes care of their newborns.
"Overnights with a newborn for us typically mean that I'm waking up and doing feeds and Jason is sleeping, so that he can man the toddlers during the day,” Kylie Kelce explained on the podcast.
Kylie Kelce was still 38 weeks pregnant when the episode was filmed. She’s currently on maternity leave as she cares for their new baby.
In the episode, she clarifies that her overnight routine has nothing to do with “letting the man sleep,” but rather that she prefers it that way.
“He needs sleep to be able to chase toddlers during the day, so that I can continue to sit with a child," Kylie Kelce added.
In addition to Finn, Kylie and Jason Kelce are also parents to their three oldest daughters — Bennett Llewellyn, 2, Elliotte Ray, 4, and Wyatt Elizabeth, 5.
Kylie Kelce doesn’t like sleeping when the baby sleeps
On April 3, just a few days after welcoming the newest member of her family, Kylie Kelce released a postpartum episode of her podcast where she introduced her fans to Finn for the first time.
In that episode, Kylie Kelce explained some of the do’s and don’ts when talking to postpartum moms.
One of those don’ts included avoiding commenting on a mom’s looks — good or bad. Instead, Kylie Kelce says to “tell her she’s doing great” because that’s the main compliment she needs to hear.
But when it comes to sleep, Kylie Kelce finds the “sleep when the baby sleeps” mindset “absurd.”
“That is one of the most asinine pieces of advice that people give to new moms. It’s not realistic,” she argues, per Today.
“When are you supposed to eat, or do anything, or talk to other human beings or function if you sleep when the baby sleeps?”
Other advice Kylie Kelce gave include asking what you can do to help, washing your hands before meeting a newborn and avoiding kissing the baby on their face, hands or head.
She also wants people to stop asking when the next baby is due and avoid commenting about stains on her clothes.
“Do you think she wants to be reminded of the fact that two hours ago she got spit up on and has still forgotten to change her shirt?” Kylie Kelce asked her listeners.
