From Helena Bonham Carter to acting newcomers, 'The White Lotus' season 4 cast is shaping up to be one of the show’s most intriguing yet.
On Sunday, January 11, 27-year-old model Sofia Richie, who is expecting her second child with husband Elliot Grainge, shared highlights from a weekend baby shower hosted by her friends.
The celebration embraced a sporty, club-inspired theme, complete with gold signage that read “The Grainge Club” throughout the venue.
In one Instagram Story, Richie posed beneath the sign wearing a flowing yellow-and-brown polka-dot robe over matching yellow pajamas. A caption on the photo read, “Showering boy mamma to be.”
Another Story offered a closer look at her plate, styled with “The Grainge Club” dishware and namecards for Richie and her daughter, Eloise. Richie wrote alongside the set-up, “Celebrating Eloise’s soon-to-be brother.”
Richie first revealed her pregnancy this past fall. On October 16, she shared a mirror selfie on Instagram showing the silhouette of her baby bump, captioning it, “On my way to launch these babies 👶🏼 + @srgatelier.”
In November, she celebrated reaching the five-month mark with a series of candid Instagram photos, including one in which she lounged on a daybed in her bathroom wearing a neutral-toned sweater lifted to show her growing belly. She captioned the post, “This is month five🤰.”
The couple shared another playful moment in December via Instagram Stories. Richie wore baggy black pants and a black top, lifting it to reveal her bump, while Grainge mirrored the gesture in jeans and a gray shirt. “Bump shot bts 😂🫣,” she captioned the image.
Richie and Grainge, who tied the knot in the South of France in April 2023, welcomed their first child, daughter Eloise Samantha Grainge, on May 20, 2024.
The pair have known each other since childhood. According to a source who spoke with Entertainment Tonight after they began dating in early 2021, “They have been friends for years, and Elliot is also close with Sofia’s brother, Miles. It’s very nice for Sofia to date someone her family approves of and likes.”
Reflecting on their romance in a July 2023 interview with Who What Wear, Richie recalled the moment she realized she wanted more than friendship with Grainge. “I would always tell him, ‘Whoever you end up with is the luckiest girl,’” she said. “I thought that person is going to be really loved, appreciated, and worshiped. And then I realized one day … why can’t that lucky girl be me?”
