Meghan Markle is sharing the special way she records all the mundane, yet special moments, in her children’s lives. While a guest of The Jamie Kern Lima Show earlier this week, Markle shared that after her two children, Archie and Lilibet, were born, she creates obscure email accounts for them that the public wouldn’t be […]
After Beyoncé’s 7-year-old daughter stole the show in Los Angeles on Monday, April 28, comedian and actress Tina Fey is reacting to the adorable moment.
During the first stop of her Cowboy Carter tour, while singing Protector, both of Beyoncé’s daughters, Rumi, and Blue Ivy, 13, joined her on stage.
While Blue Ivy danced along with the others onstage, Rumi, shared her excitement, smiling wide and waving to the people in the audience. She later turned to her mom, giving her a big hug, which caused Beyoncé to stop singing while basking in the moment.
Now, while acting as a co-host on “Jenna and Friends” alongside Today’s Jenna Bush Hager, Fey is sharing her thoughts on moment.
After watching the video, Hager asked Fey if she could see her daughters, 19-year-old Alice Richmond and 13-year-old Penelope Richmond, “ever joining you on (stage)?”
“This is really showing me that my kids are not doing enough. I'm out here on tour with Amy (Pohler). Where are my kids?” Fey responded, before praising Beyoncé for giving her kids a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
While Fey thinks at least one of her daughters, if not both of them, would join her on stage if she asked them, she adds that she thinks “there is something nice to showing, especially the live show like that, look how hard your mom.”
“Look how much work goes into being this amazing of a gifted artist like Beyoncé is,” Fey continued. “I think that's a really valuable thing for her daughters to be seeing.”
Fey shared that while touring last year, Penelope seemed to “really get into” what she and Pohler were doing onstage at the Beacon Theater in New York.
“Amy and I played shows at the Beacon theat here in New York last spring, and we were there for like, 11 nights. And my younger daughter, she really got into (it). She wanted to come and watch from the wings. It was really cute.”

Despite that, the daughters Fey shares with husband, Jeff Richmond, maintain a private life.
Fans were thrilled to witness the unbridled joy on Rumi’s face while she was onstage. Many agreeing with Fey, saying taking kids to work is a part of normal life.
“That’s so sweet. She’s so happy up there with her mum,” one commenter wrote.
“Beautiful children with their mother. I also take my daughter to my work. Absolutely normal things in life,” another added.
“I love seeing a child act like a child,” shared another commenter.
