“It made it really hard for me until I started playing into it and kind of owning the fact that I’m a nepo baby.”
Travis Scott wants nothing more than to know that his kids have what they need.
The 34-year-old rapper, who shares two kids — daughter Stormi Webster, 7, and son Aire Webster, 3 — with Kylie Jenner, per People, has always talked highly about being a father and what it means to him.
And he proved it in the most perfect way at the Reform Alliance Casino Night on Sept. 13.
While walking the red carpet at the event, which was hosted by Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin, Scott was asked to reveal the “best purchase you’ve ever made in your life” by Complex’s Jordan Rose.
Scott, whose real name is Jacques Bermon Webster II, continued walking before shouting out, “Diapers for my kid!” — per a clip shared by Complex.
The “goosebumps” artist was praised for his shoutout in the comment section.
“Father of the year,” music tech professional Diana Umana wrote.
“How did that even come to bros mind so fast,” influencer Prince Samuel added.
“Can never make me mad at this guy,” another comment read.
Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott were first linked in 2017 and started dating shortly after. Their on-again, off-again relationship continued for more than five years until calling it quits in late 2022, per People.
They welcomed daughter Stormi in February 2018, followed by son Aire in February 2022.
Travis Scott often opens up about how much he loves being a father
In a 2019 interview with “XXL Magazine,” Scott described his daughter as his “best friend.”
"Being a dad is better than what I thought it would be. Stormi is one of the best human beings I know. She's like my best friend. She makes life a little bit easier," he said.
"She just inspires me and she surprises me every day with how she's thinking. It's so crazy. Her mom and I came up with the name Stormi together. I love her mommy and I always will,” he added.
In 2020, he said that Stormi is “like a battery” who gives him “enormous energy” in an interview with GQ Germany.
"She showed me so many things that I didn't understand. I only noticed a lot in life when my daughter was born. Fatherhood is the most impressive thing that has ever happened to me,” he added at the time.
In a 2021 interview with “CR Men,” Scott opened up about his and Jenner’s parenting style with Stormi.
"We try to do a more natural vibe [with parenting], like more self-discipline. Like, 'Okay, you know you got to go to bed at 9, are you going to stay up till 11 or are you going to go to sleep now?'” he said.
“And it's so cool [to hear her say], 'I'm going to sleep ya'll!'” he added.

More recently, Scott revealed that his daughter’s favorite song is “THANK GOD” from his 2023 album “Utopia” — which features vocals from Stormi herself.
“I don’t know if it’s because she’s on it. She didn’t know she was on it until she heard the album. She’s like, “That’s me!” She knows every word,” he said in an interview with Billboard.
He also recalled having his son and daughter join him on stage while performing in SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California — which he described as his “biggest championship moment.”
“I remember my [3-year-old] son, [Aire] — he can talk — he was like, ‘Yo, who’s performing here?’ My daughter was like, ‘Daddy!’” he recalled.
