Kylie Kelce hilariously shares the moment her 3-year-old daughter said her first ‘grown up word’

Ryan Brennan | September 19, 2025

Kylie Kelce recently admitted that she would never purposely swear in front of her parents.

Unfortunately for her, that admirable trait wasn’t passed down to her 5-year-old daughter, Wyatt.

During the Sept. 18 episode of “Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce,” the mom of four was talking to Regina Hall about the actress’ deep love for expletives — which dates back to when she was six years old.

Both Kelce and Hall agreed that swearing in front of their parents was a big no-no.

“I still don’t say the f-word in front of my dad. I’m 33 years old,” Kelce explained in a video shared on YouTube. “I can’t — I won’t do it. If I do it, I (apologize).”

But every now and then, Kelce accidentally lets one slip in front of her daughters — which is precisely what happened when she was watching a Philadelphia Eagles’ game with her kids.

“She was sitting on the couch,” she said of her then-3-year-old daughter Wyatt. “She was watching the game and I shared my thoughts and feelings about the game.”

“I could see it on her lips,” she continued. “I luckily knew to pull out my phone because I was like, ‘Something’s about to pop off.’”

Kelce didn’t clarify what her daughter’s first swear word was, but recalled that she “said exactly what Mom said in the exact inflection, tone, all of it. Spot on.”

“It was so impressive,” Kelce explained. “It was almost as if she watched me do it, she took notes, and she was like, ‘I could nail that.’”

“I said, ‘Uh, excuse me,’” Kelce continued. “And she goes, ‘Uh, sorry, grown up word.’”

In addition to Wyatt, Kylie Kelce shares three more daughters — Elliotte, 4, Bennett, 2, and Finnley, born on March 30 — with her husband and former Eagles’ player Jason Kelce, according to People.

Kylie Kelce thinks her daughter Wyatt has a future in acting

Growing up in the spotlight, Kelce is well aware that her chances of having a famous daughter are high.

She admitted as much earlier in the podcast episode — and pegged Wyatt as the one who is most likely to “get involved in the arts” due to her ability to act “extra.”

“I tell people that if she doesn’t win an Oscar, I want my money back,” Kelce said of Wyatt. “Because homegirl is dramatic.”

“She wants to stand on the table in the playroom and she wants to put on a show,” she continued. “It’s in her being.”

Hall then proceeded to give Kelce a few tips on how to foster her daughter’s inner acting prowess.

“You gotta watch her and engage,” Hall — a famous actress in her own right — advised. “When she’s performing, that’s literally coming from her soul. She’s not even trying.”

“So, you gotta applaud her and be her audience so that she can feel really comfortable,” she added.

And that’s exactly what Kelce did — in a way — when her daughter said her first swear word.

While Kelce admitted that she was not very happy when it happened, she later looked back on the moment and laughed about it.

“I tried to reel it back,” she said. “I immediately was like, ‘Hey, this is my reaction. We’re not using grown up words. Those are grown up words.’ But in my heart, it was a proud moment.”
