Actress Rebel Wilson’s family is growing again!
Ariana Grande is officially back to brunette — and fans can’t get enough of it.
The We Can’t Be Friends singer, naturally a brunette but blonde for the past few years, revealed her new look on Instagram.
In a mirror selfie, Grande showed off her new deep brown hair color, captioning the photo with a playful nod to her Wicked character Glinda: “It’s good to see me, isn’t it? 🫧”
in the post she tagged her longtime colorist, Francesco De Chiara, who confirmed the transformation by reposting her photo on his Instagram stories, writing, “Here she is 🥰❤️❤️.”
Fans quickly flooded social media with excitement over her return to her signature brunette shade. One person commented, “Ahhh brown hair is back!! 🤎😍” while another wrote, “I wasn’t ready for this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” A third added, “Freakingggggg outtttttt 😍.”
Grande’s stylist also reposted an Instagram Story showing a before-and-after of her hair transformation, captioned: “From this to this: a new chapter has begun!”
The post marks the end of her three-year stretch as a blonde — a transformation Grande first made in 2022 for her role as Glinda in the two-part Wicked film.
“Even though I was wearing wigs, I needed to be blonde, too,” she told Vogue in 2024, explaining that lighter hair helped her “find Glinda.”
She also revealed she lightened up her brows because there was, “a softness that Glinda has with the lighter brows. It didn't make any sense when I had my dark brows.”
Her hair transformation comes at the perfect time, as Grande is also returning to pop music and getting ready for a tour. She announced this fall that her Eternal Sunshine Tour will start next summer — her first mega tour since 2019. It begins on June 6, 2026, in Oakland, California, and ends in early September in London.It’s safe to say — goodbye to Glinda and hello to brunette Ariana.
