Stellan Skarsgård leaned into self-deprecating humor while accepting the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Male Actor in a Motion Picture for Sentimental Value at the 2026 ceremony.
Victoria Jones, daughter of actor Tommy Lee Jones, was found dead on Thursday, January 1, in San Francisco at a California hotel. Jones was only 34.
TMZ first reported the news, citing law enforcement sources. The San Francisco Fire Department confirmed to People that they had responded to a medical emergency at the Fairmont Hotel just before 3 a.m., where an unnamed individual was found dead.
The San Francisco Police Department declared an adult female was deceased at the scene.
Victoria was the daughter of Lee Jones, and his ex-wife Kimberlea Cloughley. The couple also shares a son, Austin Jones who is 43.
According to NBC Bay Area, a police source with direct knowledge says “the woman found in a hallway of the hotel early Thursday morning is believed to be Tommy Lee Jones' daughter, Victoria.”
The source also said that the police can’t confirm her identity until the body is formally identified by a medical examiner.
The Fairmont Hotel provided the following statement on Friday: “We are deeply saddened by an incident that occurred at the hotel on January 1, 2026. Our heartfelt condolences are with the family and loved ones during this very difficult time. The hotel team is actively cooperating and supporting police authorities within the framework of the ongoing investigation.”
According to People, before her death, Victoria was arrested multiple times in 2025.
People also said, “On April 28, 2025, Victoria was taken into custody in California’s Napa County and charged with three misdemeanors: Obstructing a peace officer, being under the influence of a controlled substance without a valid prescription, and possession of a controlled substance without a valid prescription. She pleaded not guilty.”
After her initial arrest, Victoria was arrested again on June 17 and charged with misdemeanor domestic battery. The actress entered a not guilty plea on July 1.
The 34-year-old appeared on screen at a young age, first in her father’s 2002 movie Men in Black II. She later appeared in The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada (2005), directed by her father.
Victoria also made a brief appearance on television, guest-starring in a 2003 episode of the hit-teen drama One Tree Hill.
The source says police do not suspect foul play was involved in this case.
