"These infant loungers are squarely not safe for infant sleep. They lead to unsafe sleep environments, suffocation hazards."
Two University of Alabama at Birmingham football players are recovering after being stabbed by a teammate at the UAB football facility.
According to CBS Sports, the incident occurred at the Football Operations Center at the University of Alabama at Birmingham on Oct. 22, just a few hours before the Blazers’ game vs. South Florida.
The school has not released the names of the suspect or victims.
"UAB Police and Public Safety is investigating an assault that took place this morning at the Football Operations Center,” the school wrote in a statement shared by CBS Sports.

“Injuries are believed to be non-life threatening. The suspect is in custody, and there is no threat to campus," the school added.
On Oct. 22 at around 12:40 p.m., UAB offensive lineman Daniel Mincey was booked into Jefferson County Jail on an aggravated assault and attempted murder charge, according to booking records.
According to ESPN, the two victims were transported to a nearby hospital and are currently in “stable condition.”
"UAB's top priority remains the safety and well-being of all of our students," the school continued, per ESPN.
The UAB stabbing adds to what has already been a tumultuous year for UAB football.
The program parted ways with head coach Trent Dilfer earlier this season following a 2-4 start. Dilfer finished his tenure with a 9-21 record over two and a half seasons.
Interim head coach Alex Mortensen has led the team since Dilfer's departure, guiding the Blazers to an upset victory over then-No. 22 Memphis in his first game at the helm.

With a 3-7 record entering Saturday's contest, UAB is already eliminated from bowl eligibility.
