Parents are being urged to return a popular wagon stroller sold at Costco due to safety concerns.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is recalling thousands of popular baby products.
On Oct. 9, the CPSC released a series of baby product recalls and product safety warnings for various popular items including baby loungers, magnetic toys, safety gates, bed rails, kids robes and tutu skirts.
Safety risks include injuries and deaths from fall, entrapment, choking, fire and asphyxiation hazards.
Here’s everything parents need to know to keep their children safe.
YGJT Baby Loungers

A baby lounger is a soft, cushioned pillow designed to give babies a cozy, reclined spot to lounge or play.
According to the CPSC, YGJT Baby Loungers “violate the mandatory standard for Infant Sleep Products” by creating “ an unsafe sleeping environment for infants and can cause death or serious injury to infants.”
These risks are due to the sides being too low, the openings at the foot being too wide and the loungers not having a stand — which pose as fall and entrapment hazards.

The recall affects about 490 units sold on SHEIN.com from June 2025 through August 2025.
To receive a full refund, parents must “remove the foam and pads from the baby lounger’s cover and cut the cover, foam, pad, and crib bumper in half” and send photos to YGJTrecall@outlook.com.
This recall comes one month after the CPSC recalled LXDHSTRA-branded baby loungers and LXDHSTRA Baby Loungers, and issued a product warning for Jocute Baby Loungers.
No injuries or deaths have been reported, as of Oct. 9.
Mom Genius Retractable Safety Gates

A safety gate is a type of child safety barrier designed to block off doorways, stairways or other openings in the home. It can also be used for pets.
Mom Genius Retractable Safety Gates “violate the mandatory standard for expansion gates and expandable enclosures” and pose a “risk of serious injury or death due to entrapment,” per the CPSC.
The report adds that a child’s torso can fit through the opening between the gate and the floor.
The baby product recall affects roughly 920 units sold on Amazon, Walmart.com, Purchasingpower.com and Perpay.com from March 2024 through June 2025.
To receive a full refund, parents must “destroy the gate by cutting through the mesh” and send a photo of the destroyed gate to product-recall@momgenius.com.
No injuries or deaths have been reported, as of Oct. 9.
Generic Magnetic Balls 1000pcs

Magnetic ball sets are collections of small, spherical magnets that can be connected together to build structures, patterns, and 3D shapes.
According to the CPSC, these magnetic balls “violate the mandatory standard for toys because the magnet sets contain loose magnets posing an ingestion hazard to children.”
Once ingested, the magnets can attract each other and other nearby metal objects, eventually resulting in the magnets getting lodged in the digestive system.

“This can result in perforations, twisting, and/or blockage of the intestines, blood poisoning and death,” the CPSC warns.
The recall affects about 5,800 units sold on Amazon from November 2024 through August 2025.
Parents are encouraged to keep the magnetic balls away from children and contact Ritons for a prepaid shipping label, which can be used to return the toy to the retailer.
Bellabu Bear Children’s Robes

The Bellabu Bear Children’s Robes “violate the mandatory flammability standards for children’s sleepwear,” per the CPSC.
They contain a sherpa lining, two pockets and a matching belt and were sold in a wide range of prints, including PAW Patrol, Garfield, Minecraft, Minions, Batman, Justice League Wonder Woman and more.
The recall affects roughly 1,300 units sold at Saks Fifth Avenue stores and online at Bellabubear.com, Letthembelittleboutique.com and Saksfifthavenue.com from January 2024 through July 2025.
Parents can receive a full refund or store credit by contacting Bellabu Bear and returning the robe with a prepaid shipping label (which will be provided upon request).
Bmrwtg LED Tutu Skirts

The Bmrwtg LED Tutu Skirts are extremely popular due to their ability to light up.
But, according to the CPSC, the tutu skirts “contain lithium coin batteries that can be accessed easily by children” and could result in serious injury or death if swallowed.
The skirts also “do not have the warnings required by Reese’s Law.”

The recall affects roughly 740 units sold on Amazon from March through August 2025.
To receive a full refund, parents are required to cut the skirt in half and properly dispose of the batteries before sending a photo of the damaged skirt to bmrwtgrecall@outlook.com.
“Button cell and coin batteries are hazardous. Batteries should be disposed of or recycled by following local hazardous waste procedures,” the CPSC adds in its warning.
CPSC issues several product safety warnings for baby items

In addition to the baby product recalls, the CPSC also issued a series of product safety warnings for popular baby items.
That includes Vndueey Magnet Men Toy Sets sold on Amazon, which pose a risk of serious injury or death if ingested by children and should be disposed of immediately.
The CPSC issued a Notice of Violation to the seller, but Vndueey is not agreeing to a recall or remedy.
They also issued safety warnings for Bubble Monkey baby loungers and KOOLDOO Bed Rails — both of which were sold on Amazon — due to fall and entrapment hazards.
Bubble Monkey can’t offer a refund because they went out of business, while KOOLDOO has yet to respond to CPSC’s notice.
