Meghan King is wishing her daughter a “happy birthday” as her custody battle continues.
The 41-year-old reality star, best known for her time on “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” shares three kids — daughter Aspen, 9, and twin sons Hart and Hayes, 7 — with ex-husband Jim Edmonds.
On Nov. 24, King took to her Instagram Stories to celebrate her daughter’s ninth birthday.
"My favorite female to ever walk the planet. The brightest light, my greatest joy," she wrote alongside an image of Aspen, according to People.

"A spectacular gift from God was born 9 years ago today. When I learned what love is. I love you Aspen King Edmonds I love you to infinity,” the mom of three continued.
The birthday tribute comes amid a difficult time for the family.
On Nov. 19, Us Weekly revealed that a school employee filed a report against King with Child Protective Services several months ago — ultimately resulting in a CPS investigation.
CPS decided to temporarily strip King of physical custody and grant her supervised visitation, instead.
A hearing is reportedly scheduled for early December to determine whether the new custody agreement — which gives Edmonds sole physical custody of the kids — will become permanent, per Us Weekly.
Several days later, People reported that the couple’s three kids are doing well, but aren’t fully attentive to what’s going on.
"Meghan has supervised visitation two days a week and every other weekend," People’s source wrote. "She's had the opportunity to see them nine times ... and she's seen them three out of the nine."

According to a Page Six report, which was later validated by People, King had allegedly given one of her sons an unprescribed medication on several occasions before asking a school nurse to do the same.
At that point, a school employee called Child Protective Services — and an investigation was opened.
The child’s guardian ad litem, who was appointed by a court, filed for a temporary restraining order against King, according to People. King allegedly lost custody of her kids around Halloween.
A court hearing is scheduled for Dec. 9 to determine a more permanent solution to the custody battle.
Meghan King’s custody battle comes more than four years after she finalized her divorce with Edmonds.
The former couple started dating in 2013 and tied the knot in 2014 before splitting in 2019 and finalizing their divorce in May 2021, according to People.

At that time, they settled on a 50/50 joint custody agreement — which King was “not happy” with, according to Us Weekly.
