That camping trip your family still talks about? Science says it’s worth more than any toy under the tree.
Apparently father time isn’t nice to all baby products.
In a world dominated by technology and new inventions, Jolene Garrett — a TikToker and girl mom — is quickly learning that some things were simply better three decades ago.
And that was certainly true for this vintage stroller she found at a thrift store.
Garrett took to TikTok to share a video of her walking through a thrift store “on a random Wednesday” when she stumbled upon a “brand new Graco Premier Stroller” — with the tags still attached.
“I nearly fainted,” she wrote in the caption.

She later returned to TikTok to respond to one of her comments asking her if she bought the stroller. And it resulted in a three-minute video about all the reasons why her Graco stroller was an A+ purchase.
“Let me show you my favorite things about it and just some of the coolest features,” she said in the video.
Garrett was quick to point out how the seat cover was removable and the material underneath was “completely waterproof” — which makes for easy cleaning.
The canopy also had a plastic window on top so the baby could see the sky without getting wet.
But the real selling point was the stroller handle.
Not only can you switch the end you push from by moving the handle to the opposite side, but you can quickly (and easily) change the handle height if you want it higher.
“The new strollers are literally so difficult,” she said. “Why don’t they make it like this anymore?”

Garrett then moved on to the bassinet feature, which allows parents to turn their baby stroller seat into a bassinet by simply grabbing a handle and pulling it down.
And then there’s the storage — which comes in an abundance.
The Graco stroller has a large cubby on the bottom with a removable liner (for cleaning), a storage pouch that hangs off the back of the bassinet canopy and a removable piece that attaches to the handle.
To make it even sweeter, it’s no heavier than any other baby stroller and just as easy to fold up.
The internet is feeling a little jealous over her vintage stroller find

Garrett, who has 4,000 followers on TikTok, was surprised to see her videos go viral.
Her first video received more than 2.6 million views, as of Jan. 22, and her explainer video tallied another 614,000 million views — followed by a third video taking it out of her car, which had 1.3 million views.
TikTok users were quick to share their jealousy in the comment section.
- “I dont understand why Graco doesn’t give us a throwback line when they KNOW we have been begging for it”
- “This is the most beautiful stroller ever. Let's bring 80s/90s designs back. So sick of the dull basic colors.”
- “hey graco! THIS IS WHAT WE WANT!”
- “Adding vintage graco to my registry (I’m not pregnant)”
- “I love my vintage stroller but this is beautiful! Purple is my fav color and now I’m jealous”
- “Why don’t they make cute prints like this anymore!???”
- “The way I would immediately buy this even though I don’t have a daughter and don’t plan on having more kids”
- “I need this luck to find me”
Some commenters were curious to learn just how safe the product is — especially since safety standards for strollers have changed so much over the past three decades.
For example, Graco strollers faced a widespread recall in October 1990 due to safety concerns.
The recall, which was announced by the Consumer Safety Product Commission (CPSC), affected Graco strollers with model names Travel-Mate, Stroll-A-Bed, Elite, Brougham, Regency and Premeir.
The models, which were sold before June of 1989, had been associated with six incidents of children’s fingertip laceration or amputation and one incident of a fractured thumb, per the CPSC.
“The exposed recline brackets of these strollers may present this type of hazard to children who place their fingers in the mechanism when the seat is raised by the parent or others,” the recall warned.

Nonetheless, Garrett was ecstatic at her Graco stroller find and has since added several other vintage strollers to her impressive list of thrift store finds.
