Ben Savage had a little extra to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.
The 45-year-old actor, best known for his role as Cory Matthews on the ABC sitcom “Boy Meets World,” took to Instagram on Nov. 26 to share that his wife, Tessa Angermeier, gave birth to their first baby girl.
“Welcome little one,” Savage wrote in the caption.
In one photo, Savage can be seen wearing a black shirt that reads, “Girl Dad,” as he stands behind his daughter while she lay in a hospital bassinet.
The couple have yet to release any other details about the baby girl, including her birth date and name.
On Nov. 27, Savage shared two more photos of his little one to his Instagram Stories — including one of him and Angermeier walking their baby in a stroller on Thanksgiving Day.
The other photo shows Ben Savage’s daughter wearing a brown shirt that read, “Gobble Gobble.”
The baby news comes six months after Savage and Angermeier announced their pregnancy in a May 20 Instagram post. At the time, Savage said their baby was due in the fall.

“November can’t come soon enough,” Ben Savage’s wife wrote in an Instagram post of her own.
The couple continued to share frequent updates about the incoming baby and revealed the gender on Sept. 3 — sharing several photos from their baby shower.
“Girl dad,” he wrote in the caption.
On Nov. 12, Savage posted photos from a maternity shoot on the beach as he placed his hand on his wife’s growing baby bump. “See you soon,” he wrote in the caption.
Ben Savage finally celebrates his real-life ‘Girl Meets World’
Most fans remember Ben Savage from his time on “Boy Meets World,” which aired from 1992 to 2000.
The show followed his character, Cory Matthews, from middle school through college and became a beloved coming-of-age series of the 1990s.

He reprised this role in the Disney Channel sequel series "Girl Meets World" (2014-2017), which focused on Cory's daughter Riley Matthews, whom he shared with Topanga Matthews, played by Danielle Fishel.
Fans of the show couldn’t help but reference Savage’s iconic character in the comment section of his recent baby update.
“Girl meets world (for real),” one fan wrote under the baby reveal.
“Dad meets girl ❤️ congrats!” another fan commented.
“Baby meets world,” a third fan wrote.
Even Savage’s former co-star Matthew Lawrence, who played Jack Hunter — the older brother of Cory’s best friend Shawn Hunter — shared a special message in the comment section.
“Wow bro!!” he wrote. “A very happy Thanksgiving.”
While "Boy Meets World" remains his most iconic role, Savage has also appeared in various TV movies and shows throughout his career — including “Without a Trace,” “Bones” and “Criminal Minds,” per IMDB.

In recent years, he's been less active in acting and has shown interest in politics, including running for office in the U.S. House of Representatives in California.
