Gina Rodriguez and Joe LoCicero have some exciting news to share with fans.
On July 11, the couple attended the red carpet for Netflix’s “Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano 3” fight at Madison Square Garden where the “Jane the Virgin” star debuted her growing baby bump.
While talking to People on the red carpet, Rodriguez confirmed that the couple are expecting a baby girl.

Rodriguez and LoCicero, who went public with their relationship in 2017 and tied the knot two years later, are already parents to a son named Charlie Ray, born in early 2023.
Now they have a daughter on the way.
“Baby girl coming thru!!! We are so excited for you lil mama,” Rodriguez wrote on Instagram on July 12.
At the July 11 fight, Rodriguez was photographed holding her baby bump while wearing a black floral gown. LoCicero, who wore a white T-shirt and jeans, was also pictured with his hand on the bump.
In her interview with People, Rodriguez admitted that she’s “terrified” of giving birth, but still excited.
“It's so painful," the actress said. "But I'm so excited for our baby girl to come into this world. And so it's like, I'll do what I gotta do to get her here."
She went on to reveal that her soon-to-be daughter has her craving sweets — unlike her firstborn.
"And I mean, I'm wearing flats. I figured it out the second time around. We're going flats, we're going comfortable with a stretch. Those are the little things I learned,” she added of her second pregnancy.
Rodriguez describes her husband as a ‘tremendous’ partner
Rodriguez and LoCicero first met in 2016 on the set of “Jane the Virgin,” according to Us Weekly.
Rodriguez, who played Jane Villanueva in the show, was the titular character, while LoCicero appeared in five episodes from 2016 to 2019, per IMDB — making his debut on the 17th episode of season two.
The couple, who prefer to keep their private life out of the spotlight, started dating six months after they met and made their red carpet debut at the 2017 SAG Awards.
They announced their engagement in January 2019, tied the knot several months later and revealed that they were expecting their first child together in July 2022.
While talking to People about her second pregnancy, Rodriguez described LoCicero as “tremendous.”
"My husband is literally a 10,” she said. “Being pregnant with a toddler is probably more debilitating than I ever thought it was, and he just scoops in everything, as you would hope a partner would.”
“But he does it all the time, before I even think about it — before I ask,” she added.

“He loves me so deeply, and oh god, it makes it really, really wonderful to bring children into this world when you have someone fantastic like that,” she concluded.
