“I’m just stoked and I hope to be the dad that I hope that I would have.”
Reality TV star Mikayla Matthews can’t wait to tell her birth story.
The 25-year-old MomTok star, who rose to fame on Hulu’s “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” welcomed her fourth baby with her husband Jace Terry on July 17, according to Instagram.
Five days later, the couple revealed the name of their newborn baby girl, Lottie June, in a separate post.

The reveal was accompanied by a birth video that showed Matthews, Terry and their kids awaiting Lottie’s arrival in the hospital. The video was set to Madison Malone’s rendition of “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing.”
Less than an hour later, Matthews took to her Instagram Stories to share the details.
“I can’t wait to do a birth story time cause it was so crazy and intense and painful yet so perfect,” the reality TV star wrote over a photo of Lottie June laying in her lap.
She then explained what made Lottie’s birth so intense.
“I did give birth standing in the shower and basically caught her head myself haha,” Matthews wrote in the Story. “That wasn’t planned but that’s just what happened lol.”

Matthews went on to express how grateful she was for her medical team and support system.
“Forever grateful for the support I had because it was such a huge mental game and I couldn’t have done it without them reminding me how strong and capable I am,” she continued.
“Shoutout to women because we are so bada**,” she added.
Matthews’ new baby has two older sisters and an older brother
Matthews met her husband when she was 16 years old, according to a TikTok she posted in 2021.
At the time, Matthews said she was at a “low point” in her life after leaving her parent’s house and moving in with her sister at just 15 years old.
She found out she was pregnant with her first baby less than one month after meeting Terry and decided to keep the baby — and the rest is history.
The couple welcomed son Beckham in 2017 and tied the knot six months later, according to People.

“I finished high school online and suffered from depression throughout my entire pregnancy,” she added in the 2021 TikTok. “I had my son and he was the best thing to ever happen to me.”
Beckham’s sisters Haven and Tommie followed in 2019 and 2021, respectively, per People.
More recently, in February, Matthews took to Instagram to “finally announce the next step on my healing journey” alongside a photo of her then-family-of-five holding ultrasound photos.
“Can’t wait to love on this baby,” she added in the caption.
In addition to her own announcement on July 17 and subsequent birth video on July 22, Matthews’ husband also took to Instagram to share his excitement over Lottie June’s arrival.
“We’re in love,” he wrote in the caption.
In the first slide of his post, Terry has his palm around Lottie June’s head as she lay on Matthews’ chest. But if you look closely, you’ll also see a beef stick in Matthews’ lap.
“It’s the beef stick for me lol,” she wrote in the comment section of her husband’s post before urging Chomps to sponsor her for the plug.
