“I think my son and I have watched atleast 1 billion of these hours.”
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend had themselves a special dinner date — courtesy of their daughter.
The couple, who will celebrate their 13th wedding anniversary in September, according to People, took a trip to their backyard for a three-course meal at the newly-minted Rainbow Cafe.
And if you’re wondering what the Rainbow Cafe is, it’s the brainchild of their 9-year-old daughter Luna Simone.

On July 10, Teigen shared a series of photos and videos from the dinner date on Instagram, which began with a plate of rainbow-inspired fruit assembled in the shape of a flower.
Luna, who prepared the appetizer, can be seen holding the plate with a big smile on her face.
“She is everything I ever was as a little girl but ten million times better,” Teigen wrote in the caption.
“Plating skills,” Grant Achatz, an American chef and restaurateur, wrote in the comments.
The dinner date came equipped with a handmade menu with several options in it — a salad, mac and cheese, a fruit plate, branzino and an ice cream cake for dessert.
Luna hilariously specified on the menu that the mac and cheese was from a Kraft box.
“She’s the most perfect chef (& girl) there ever was!!” Teigen added in a comment through her “Cravings by Chrissy Teigen” Instagram page.
“Please put me first on the waiting list to dine at The Rainbow Cafe when a second one opens in New York!” kids' musician Laurie Berkner added in a comment of her own.
In other videos posted by Teigen, Luna can be seen struggling to light a candle as a centerpiece and pouring her parents a glass of water.
“Wow, we never eat out here,” Teigen said in the fourth slide.
“Only for like Thanksgiving and Girl Scouts,” Luna added.
Luna then teamed up with her youngest brother Wren in bringing their parents their delicious dessert — yellow cake and frosting on top of a pile of chocolate ice cream.
“Careful, Wren, pay attention,” Legend says to Wren, who came close to dropping one of the desserts.
And if the dinner date wasn’t already going as planned, Wren spotted a real rainbow that appeared on the ground near the table his parents were eating at.
“There’s a rainbow on the ground, you’re right,” Teigen said. “At the Rainbow Cafe!”
In addition to Luna and Wren, who turned two last month, Teigen and Legend share a second son, Miles Theodore, 7, and another daughter, Esti Maxine, also 2, per People.
Teigen teaches Luna how to make ‘beloved’ family recipe
Luna is clearly taking after her mother, who is known for her successful cookbooks, cookware line and "Cravings by Chrissy Teigen" brand.
On July 10, not long after posting about her dinner date, Teigen shared videos of her teaching Luna how to make a fish recipe that’s near and dear to their family on Instagram.
“Luna wanted to learn our beloved family fish recipe,” Teigen wrote in the caption. “This whole fish recipe is a staple in our house - we have it at least once a week, babies and all.”
In the first slide, Luna is sitting on the counter washing her hands in garlic and olive oil.
“That’s gonna smell amazing,” Legend says with sarcasm. “That’s gonna take a while for that stench to come out.”
Luna then apologized to the fish as she rubbed garlic and oil on (and in) the fish.
“I’m so sorry, buddy. You were loved,” she said in the final slide. “You were amazing and you were loved.”
Fans took to the comment section to wonder when Luna, who was born in 2016, got so big.
“When did Luna turn 15? She looks so grown,” one user commented.
“Sweet Luna has the purest of hearts. She’s witty, clever and compassionate- a wonderful way to be in life!” another fan wrote in the comments.
