Influencers Gabi and Eric, who frequently go viral for their height difference (Gabi is 5’1’’ and Eric is 6’10’’), took to Instagram on July 1 to show a different side of their day-to-day life, this time as parents.
And it didn’t take long for their video to go viral.

“Tell me you have kids without telling me you have kids,” Gabrielle Mika wrote on a video shared to her “Hot Momma Journey” Instagram account, where she regularly posts about maternal and women’s health.
In the video, Eric Mika, who plays professional basketball, takes tiny bites out of a chicken tender before dumping them back into a paper tray for his son to eat.
“The baby bird method,” Gabrielle Mika wrote in the caption, referring to the way a mama bird regurgitates food before serving it to her baby chicks.
One user in the comments “thought he was eating a cookie quickly before the kids see it.”
Others knew exactly what he was doing — and even detailed their own methods for cutting up food when you don’t have a knife.
“I carry food scissors in my purse,” one mom wrote in the comment section.
“I just tear it with my fingers,” another mom added.
But while some parents described it as “genius,” others felt “disgusted” by it.
Some took notice of the kids climbing on other tables while they had their meal.
“Imagine seeing kids on top of table dividers, licking the windows, and mom and dad are just recording themselves chew up food and spit it out,” one user pointed out.
In the video, one of the kids is climbing from one table to the next while the other (without shoes) climbs the windowsill.
“As a mom to 3 boys ages 6,5, and 1.5 my kids have NEVER walked all over the booths or restaurant tables,” another user wrote.
“They might be loud but never will you see them running throughout the restaurant or climbing everywhere. Gotta teach the young ones some etiquette,” that same user concluded.
“Delete this. Learn from your mistakes,” another viewer commented.
Gabi and Eric later clarified that they “wiped the tables after” and joked that “they’re probably the cleanest they’ve been since opening” in a comment of their own.

“Ok chill we wiped it off and he’s a toddler,” Gabrielle Mika added in a comment under her TikTok post.
