“I think when you’re fully carrying and you’re 24 weeks and you’ve planned out like their room and all these things, it’s really hard.”
Just four months after celebrating their one-year wedding anniversary, actress Millie Bobby Brown and her husband Jake Bongiovi are sharing big news.
After saying “I do” on May 27, 2024, Brown and Bongiovi, 23, took to Instagram to reveal their latest relationship milestone.
The husband and wife are officially parents.
Brown took to Instagram to share the special announcement on Thursday, Aug. 21. “This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” the 21-year-old wrote.
“We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy,” she continued. “And then there were 3. Love, Millie and Jake Bongiovi.”
The couple has not shared a photo of their new bundle of joy with the public.
While talking with “Smartless” in March, Brown was candid when it comes to becoming a parent alongside Bongiovi, revealing her mom was 21 when she had her first child.
“My mom actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19,” Brown explained. “And you know, it’s been my thing since before I met Jake. Since I was a baby, I told my mom, like, baby dolls. I wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me."
“I mean, Jake knows how important it is to me and, of course, I want to focus on really establishing myself as an actor and as a producer, but I also find it’s so important to start a family for me personally,” Brown continued.
And with both Brown and Bongiovi being born into large families, they hope to grow a large family of their own as well.
“And my thing was, I really want a family. I really want a big family. I’m one of four. He’s one of four. So, it is definitely in our future, but, for me, I don’t see having your own child, you know, as really any different as in adopting," she said at the time.
