Robert Irwin is taking his talents to the big screen.
The 21-year-old wildlife conservationist took to Instagram on Oct. 10 to share that he is voicing a character in the upcoming Disney film “Zootopia 2,” which hits theatres the day before Thanksgiving.
And his character — Robert Furwin the koala bear — couldn’t be more perfect.
“Look at him. Look at his little uniform,” Irwin said of the koala, whose tan uniform is similar to the one he wears in most of his social media videos.
“He looks just like me,” Irwin continued in an Oct. 10 TikTok video — further describing the role as a “childhood dream come true.”
In a video shared by Walt Disney Studios on Oct. 11, Irwin shared his excitement about the role while standing in front of the Disney Animation Building in Burbank, California.
“I am so excited that I am playing a character in the new ‘Zootopia 2,’” he said in the video. “I just got to watch my scene in the movie.”
“I cannot wait for you guys to see this,” he continued. “Robert Furwin’s coming. Let’s do this.”

Both his mom, Terri Irwin, and sister, Bindi Irwin, were quick to share their opinions on Robert Furwin.
“You are one cool koala!” his mom wrote in the comment section of his Oct. 10 announcement.
“So cool!” his sister added next to a koala emoji.
According to DisInsider, other voice actors joining the sequel include Quinta Brunson, Yvette Nicole Brown, Andy Samberg, Idris Elba, Jenny Slate, Bonnie Hunt, Patrick Warburton, Alan Tudyk and Shakira.
Husband and wife duo Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song will also make cameo appearances.
Robert Irwin honors ‘Zootopia’ during Disney Night on ‘Dancing with the Stars’
As many fans know by now, Robert Irwin is one of 10 celebrities still standing on “Dancing with the Stars.”
Irwin has been one of the most impressive (and popular) performers this year with many fans expecting him to follow in his sister’s footsteps after she won the competition in 2015 (Season 21).
And he continued to show why with his cha-cha dance during Disney Night on Oct. 7.
Irwin and his partner, Witney Carson, danced to “Try Everything” — a song recorded by his new co-star Shakira and written by Sia for the original “Zootopia” film, released in 2016.

After the performance, Irwin doubled down on his excitement to join such a popular movie.
“The cha-cha is so sneaky-hard… It's just so technical and so challenging, but I'm really happy that we came out, we attacked it, and we really wanted to capture the spirit of ‘Zootopia,’” he told Extra TV.
“So honored to be part of ‘Zootopia 2,’ and it's just really fun to feel the magic of Disney,” he added.
