Snoop Dogg’s family had a lot to celebrate this past week.
The 54-year-old rapper and father of four took to the 2026 Golden Globes to present the first-ever award for Best Podcast, which went to Amy Poehler's “Good Hang” podcast, on Sunday, Jan. 11.
But that wasn’t nearly as important as the news his daughter, Cori Broadus, revealed earlier in the week.
On Jan. 6, Broadus took to Instagram to share that her baby daughter, who was born in late-February, is officially home after a 10-month stay in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).

“She’s home,” Broadus wrote in the caption. “Thank you for every prayer, every message, every ounce of love. God heard them all.”
The post included two pictures of Broadus snuggled up in bed with her baby girl, Codi, and a video of her giving the little one kisses. The baby’s face was hidden from the video.
Broadus announced her baby’s arrival in a Feb. 28 Instagram post.
“The princess arrived at 6 months,” she wrote in the caption. “I’ve cried and cried, I’ve compared and compared, blaming myself because I wasn’t able to give her all that she needed.”
“But no matter what God always shows me that He got me! Baby girl came at 25 weeks today and she’s the best!! Thank You God for getting me this far,” she added.
Snoop Dogg reveals the best thing to happen to him this year
Snoop Dogg is known for living a spontaneous lifestyle, but his children always come first.
In a September interview with People, the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper was asked to describe the greatest thing that happened to him in 2025 — and he gave the best type of answer, per E! News.
“My granddaughter being born,” he said.

“My last granddaughter was born earlier this year. She was born premature and she’s doing very well now,” he added. “So, tiny C has probably been the best thing that happened to me this year.”
In addition to his youngest Cori, the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper shares two sons — Cordé, 30, and Cordell, 28 — with his wife Shante Broadus and a son Julian, 26, with Laurie Helmond, per People.
Cordé was the first to make his father a grandfather.
The rapper shares four kids with his wife Soraya Love — Elleven Love, 6, Kai Love, who died 10 days after being born in 2019, and Sky Love, 4 — and an older son Zion Kalvin, 10, with ex Jessica Kyzer.
Cordell added another three kids to the mix with his wife, Phia. The couple share daughters Cordoba Journey, 6, Chateau, 4, and Symphony Sol, born in 2023.
