Hailee Steinfeld was walking the Golden Globes red carpet alone — but her husband was there in spirit.
The 29-year-old “Sinners” actress and soon-to-be first-time mom wore a sparkling long-sleeve dress at the event, which was her first red carpet appearance since announcing her pregnancy one month prior.
Her husband, Josh Allen, was noticeably absent but for good reason.
Allen, who plays quarterback for the Buffalo Bills of the NFL, was suited up in Jacksonville for a playoff game against the Jaguars in which he scored the game-winning touchdown with just one minute left.

The reigning MVP later took to his Instagram Story to share a photo of his wife’s red carpet moment.
He paired the photo with a drooling emoji and red heart eyes emoji.
Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld nearly broke the internet on Dec. 12 when the actress revealed that she was pregnant with her first child in the latest edition of her “Beau Society” newsletter.
In the post, Steinfeld listed her 29 favorite moments of 2025 “in no particular order.”
The list ended with a video of Allen crouching down to kiss his wife’s noticeable baby bump as the couple stood in front of a baby snowman. Steinfeld was wearing a jacket that read “Mother.”
Why was Hailee Steinfeld at the Golden Globes?
Hailee Steinfeld wasn’t nominated for an award at the Golden Globes 2026.
She did, however, present the award for Best Limited Series, Anthology Series, or Television Motion Picture in support of her own film, “Sinners,” which was a heavy contender at the event.
As Steinfeld was walking on stage to present the award, an announcer gave her husband a shout out.
“Please welcome one of the stars of ‘Sinners,’ Hailee Steinfeld — congrats on that Bills’ win — and Golden Globe winner Ayo Edebiri,” the announcer said
“Sinners,” which was released in April, received seven Golden Globe nominations and won two awards — including Best Original Score and Cinematic andBox Office Achievement.
Hailee Steinfeld’s baby bump debut came less than a month after her husband opened up about fatherhood in an interview with the Associated Press, published Dec. 17.
In it, he admitted that he knew of his wife’s pregnancy back in October.
“Yeah, I guess it’s like the evolution of life. I consider this place my home,” he said of Buffalo, New York. “It’s where I’ve done a lot of growing up. And it’s a place that I’ll raise a family. It’s really cool.”
