Marvel villains Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton have expanded their family.
The 44-year-old actor, who plays the villainous Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and 41-year-old actress, best known as Dar-Benn in “The Marvels,” welcomed their second child together recently.
Hiddleston confirmed the birth in an interview with “GQ,” published Dec. 29.
In the interview, Hiddleston described birth as the “most beautiful, profound, earth-shattering, life-altering” experience — with GQ adding that it’s “something he experienced just the other day.”

Zawe Ashton’s baby update comes six weeks after she hinted at her child’s birth on Instagram.
“It takes a village,” she wrote on Nov. 14. “Today, I chose to mark a milestone in postpartum recovery with a trip to one of the @littlevillagehq baby banks, dedicated to supporting families all year round.”
“Throughout my recovery, I have thought deeply about the children in our world facing the most devastating living conditions and those tirelessly working to protect them,” she added in the caption.
Fans took note of the hint and were quick to share their congratulations in the comment section.
“Congratulations and may your recovery be speedy. Post partum isn't easy! You're so strong not only in your own family but in others!” one fan wrote.
A look at Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton’s relationship history
Hiddleston and Ashton met in 2019 while starring in the revival of Harold Pinter’s play “Betrayal,” according to People.
They played a married couple who break up after Hiddleston’s character, Robert, finds out about a seven-year affair between Ashton’s character, Emma, and Robert’s best friend, played by Charlie Cox.
But it wasn’t until 2019 that Hiddleston and Ashton sparked dating rumors when they were spotted at the US Open together.

Those dating rumors continued for several years and were seemingly confirmed when they made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2021 Tony Awards.
The engagement rumors began the following year when Ashton was spotted wearing a diamond ring.
Hiddleston confirmed the engagement in a June 2022 interview with the “Los Angeles Times” — two weeks before Ashton announced they were expecting their first child together.
Ashton debuted her baby bump at the New York City screening of “Mr. Malcolm’s List” on June 29, 2022.
The couple’s first child was born later that year.
More recently, in June, Ashton announced her second pregnancy in a “special announcement” shared by “Vogue” and debuted her baby bump at the premiere of Hiddleston’s movie “The Life of Chuck.”
